Podcasts

For a number of years I have noticed that a lot of patrons would come into the library to listen to podcasts from various radio stations, particularly radio national. I also have a few friends that have configured their PCs to automatically download podcasts for favourite shows. For me I download the daily video podacst from the UK Motorcycle News site for my daily dose of all things bike.

I can certainly see the potential of podacasts for libraries, indeed at my library we are in the process of creating podcasts for reader education purposes and from there who knows.
